  • What is the difference between a spec home and a custom home?

    A custom home is built from a set of plans that the individual client chooses. The goal of a custom house to bring your ideas to life by working with a builder every step of the way. Not only is the builder working with you on the floorplan, but you also have a say in the interior design, such as paint colors and countertops.


    A spec home is built from a set of plans that the builder chooses with no specific client in mind. A spec home is typically built in regards to current home trends.
